Finally back on.....
Oh lord, thanks to Tim, I can finally post again. Still working on the avatar thing.
I should say that I am not very fond of obscenities unless they are necessary to the post. The first week in the ER, I thought my first name was "Mother....." and it has not stopped in the past fifteen years. This ER has a little over 50,000 visits per year and hospital has 350 beds....only hospital in town and we serve about 6 counties. I worked days as I was Manager and got calls all night long, it seemed. Trying to get used to sleeping without interruption.
I was in Arizona this summer. I would like to meet the person who was stumbling across the desert and decided that this place (phoenix) is the place I must build a town. It is hot, hot, hot. Everyone said it's a dry heat but I have to say that once the temp is over 103 you need to be in air conditioning.....whether it's a wet or dry heat. It seemed so clean though and of course the food and all the swimming pools was/were wonderful. I hate to sound whiny but the Vermont side of me says I need Fall.
The one who must not be named has had my interest all day today. Hope she/it learned a lesson but I doubt it. Should say here that the Squeaky Wheel is just a really great site...check it out.
Time for a little wine.....
