Debate

What would be good perhaps, would be to have debates around the country on the big issues: The War on Terrorism, Educational Reform, Immigration, etc. But, these debates should be conducted civily, with courtesy, fair moderation.....designed to present the different ideas of the issues. This way we the people could see both sides or all sides and make up our minds from a base of knowledge. The shouting matches known as debate that take place now serve no one and make the debaters look like fools. Protests could be allowed outside the forum location and any disturbances in the hall would be escorted outside and then the debate would continue.

The current atmosphere of hatred and shouting and constant harrassment of the President does nothing for me except stiffen my resolve to vote Republican no matter what. And that is not good.
