Upside...

Well, that was certainly a sour note.

On the upside, I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel. The screen man wants to buy some of my furniture in return for some of the work he is doing. The Church office called; they heard I had some books, dishes, etc to dispose of and they could use them for the Church Bazaar. There only remains to empty two closets and the garages and then paint, carpet and SELL, sell, sell...

Frick is so much better. It's good to see the gruesome twosome frisky again and curling up together.

I am reading a terrific book before I delve into Pratchett. I got a tip from The Anchoress and ordered "My Life with the Saints" by James Martin, SJ. It is his progress pre and peri vocation and the Saints he met along the way. Little bios of Saints whom he thinks of as personal friends. The book is humorous and has already got me thinking about the Saints differently. I highly recommend it.
