Thanksgiving 2006......

So what am I thankful for? First would be my immediate family. They're all gone now but I am so lucky to have had them at all. Then, I am very grateful for the extended family....lots and lots of cousins and eight Aunts and Uncles...they have been very good to me. I am grateful that I finally settled on a Major, stuck to it and became an RN....my ideal career. I am also thankful for being able to take it easy now and only work if I'm bored. I am Thankful for living in the greatest country in the world...no matter how un-PC that makes me. I am thankful for the men and women in all the services who protect me and my country. I am thankful for all my friends...they are so special in so many different ways. It is wonderful to have two cantankerous cats to sit in my lap and whine for food.

Actually, being a "glass half full" type person, I can't think of many things I am not thankful for. How lucky am I?
